Karlyn Russell is an experienced data analyst, facilitator, and project manager based in Denver, CO.  She uses her strong quantitative, problem-solving and presentation skills to help organizations understand and leverage data to make the critical decisions necessary to achieve business goals.  Karlyn brings rigorous analysis, clearheaded insight, and a deep understanding of quantitative questions to each client engagement. She is known for her ability to present data and insights in an engaging, meaningful way, for her enthusiasm and for bringing a sense of fun to all she does.

Karlyn is passionate about racial equity and social justice, particularly related to segregation and other racialized housing disparities, and the racial wealth gap between Black and white families. She believes that companies and governments must begin to recognize and address the harm created by racism in the United States in order to create better conditions for employees, clients, and citizens. To that end, Karlyn has created and led DEI initiatives in the workplace, including forming employee discussion groups and creating a speaker series in partnership with Macalester College to connect BIPOC students with BIPOC Economics alumni.

Karlyn is a graduate of Macalester College, where she earned a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Geography. In the future, she plans to pursue a Masters of Urban Planning to further her career goal of dismantling racist housing and employment systems within cities.
