Tyrone Cratic Williams brings a rare combination of experience in law enforcement, workforce development, financial education, facilitation, and community engagement to his work as a Consulting Associate with The People Company Consulting Group.
Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Tyrone has worked with law enforcement agencies, social service organizations, colleges and universities, and community-based nonprofits. His work focuses on the decisions and behaviors that shape workplace culture, public trust, opportunity, and organizational effectiveness.
Tyrone is especially skilled at helping people examine how assumptions and implicit bias influence judgment, communication, conflict, and decision-making. He doesn’t approach these issues as abstract concepts. Drawing on his experience as a first responder, educator, mentor, and workforce development professional, he helps participants connect what they are learning to the decisions they make and the people affected by them.
His experience includes facilitating workshops, delivering keynotes, advising organizations, and contributing to policies and practices related to workforce and economic development, public safety, racial disparities, and organizational change. He has also presented at local and national conferences on implicit bias and financial literacy and their impact on young people and communities.
As a law enforcement professional, Tyrone brings firsthand knowledge of what it means to make decisions in complex environments where communication, judgment, relationships, and trust matter. That experience strengthens his ability to work with leaders and employees on issues that can be difficult to discuss but costly to avoid.
At The People Company, Tyrone helps clients move the conversation from awareness to action. He challenges people to examine how they make decisions, recognize where their own assumptions may be getting in the way, and take greater responsibility for the culture they help create.
Tyrone is a Certified Financial Education Instructor and has completed study through the National Institute of Financial and Economic Literacy at Edgewood College. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Edgewood College, with a minor in Ethnic Studies, and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Training and Development at Lewis University.
