Tyrone Cratic Williams is the CEO of Cratic Consulting LLC. As a workforce development specialist, financial literacy educator and law enforcement veteran in Madison, Wisconsin, Tyrone has led numerous training, workshops and keynotes on implicit racial bias and its effects on decision making, communication, outcomes and community relations. Drawing from personal experiences and years of professional work as an educator, mentor and first responder, he excels at developing cultural schemas, conflict management, effective change management and strategic planning. Tyrone works to maximize client strengths by perceiving equity through intentional action, self-reflection and leadership.
Tyrone’s passion for teaching and building community has allowed him to work with law enforcement, social services, institutions of higher education and grassroots nonprofits to create and recommend organizational policies and best practices surrounding economic and career development, public safety, social equity, and racial disparities throughout the State of Wisconsin. He has presented at various local and national conferences focusing on the impacts of implicit bias and financial illiteracy among youth and communities of color.
Tyrone is currently a police officer in the City of Madison, a Certified Financial Education Instructor through the National Financial Educators Council and he also attended the National Institute of Financial and Economic Literacy at Edgewood College. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Edgewood College in Art with a minor in Ethnic Studies and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Training and Development at Lewis University.
