The DEI Implementation Change Management Certificate Program will equip participants with high-level knowledge and tools to effectively navigate and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within their workplaces. The program is structured around The People Company Consulting Group’s Nine component DEI implementation Framework. Each component covered will serve as an introduction and overview of the key concepts and skills necessary for successful DEI implementation change management, including best practices related to DEI assessment and strategy, as well as practical tools for driving organizational change.
This 5-hour interactive certificate program be delivered through a combination of engaging presentation, group discussion, case study, and hands-on activities.
The certificate program will cover the following areas:
- Introduction to DEI: This module provides an overview of the concepts and importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Change Management Fundamentals: Participants learn about the key principles and frameworks of change management.
- Envision: Participants learn about the importance of creating a clear vision for DEI within an organization.
- Assess: This module focuses on conducting a thorough assessment of the organization’s current state regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strategize: Participants explore the process of developing a DEI strategy that aligns with the organization’s vision and addresses the identified gaps.
- Enlist Your Team: This component emphasizes the importance of engaging and enlisting a diverse group of stakeholders and champions to support the DEI initiatives.
- Communicate: Effective communication is crucial for successful DEI implementation. This module covers strategies for communicating the vision, goals, and progress of the DEI initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Educate: This module focuses on the importance of education and training to drive behavior change and foster understanding, empathy, and inclusivity.
- Implement: This module covers the practical steps and considerations for implementing DEI initiatives.
- Measure: Measuring the impact and progress of DEI initiatives is essential to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. This module covers methods and tools for collecting and analyzing data, tracking key metrics, and evaluating the effectiveness of DEI interventions.
- Sustain: This final component explores strategies for sustaining DEI efforts in the long term.
Those who complete the 5-hour workshop will receive a DEI Implementation Change Management Certificate from The People Company Consulting Group Inclusion Institute recognizing their understanding of DEI implementation change management.
